How hard is it to get into North Texas’ Music program?

BirdLives! asked:

As a graduate student?

I’m currently a bass major at UMass Lowell for music education, I’d like to get my masters in music education in lowell, since its cheaper, and then get my doctorate at North Texas. what’s the acceptance rate in north texas for grad students? would I be better off transferring in sooner than that?

I’m not a grad student. But if you’re talking about UNT, I’m there.

From friends I know who are in the music program, it’s not easy and it’s best to do it as soon as possible. You don’t want to wait it out, and you have to be fully prepared. The website of UNT gives out full information about the Music department if you’re interested.
It depends on what you choose to do to apply. Whether you want to just transfer or fully go for it. I would say that transferring would be a good stet to go for, yet it’s your call.

If you want to know more information about the Music Department, you can contact the advisers on the site for more information.
I hope this helps. Let me know if this is the school you’re talking about. If not, I apologize for the answer I gave you. However, just follow the steps to look up more information about it.

    Good Luck
