University of South Alabama - Good school to study music?

Stevie. [Gabor] asked:

I’m a junior this year, so college has been on my mind a lot lately. I really want to be near the coast, so I’ve been looking into University of South Alabama and University of Mobile. I don’t know what I want to study just yet, but it’s probably going to be either music or education. Which of these two schools would be better for me? (Also, I’m agnostic, which is why I would really rather not go to a private school, but I’ve heard UOM’s music program is much better.)

I think you need to sort out what you want to study and see which college offers the best courses.
